  The best WT elders are

  i know some elders want to be real shepherds in the biblical sense and are constantly challenged by wt directions that are cold unloving & self serving and many leave because of this.

  such an elder who has his own conscience and is troubled by it does not make the best wt elder.

  im looking to name the characteristics that make the best wt elders.

  I was only half-way joking about the brain thing. I think being raised as a dub has a negative impact on a person's critical thinking skills. There's all kinds of hoops I subconsciously jump through before making a reply to anything. Who's listening? Who's going to take offense or repeat what I said? I like to say that I'm mentally free of the Borg, but I think it's going to take years, if ever, for that to really be true.

  Brother Apostate mentioned Arrogant Bastard Ale a long time ago and I thought I'd jump in here and clink my pagan stein in a heavenward toast to BA's excellent taste in brew.

  so to top off my wonderful set of horrible happenings as of late...my washer was broke.

  so after a couple of weeks i put off going down the street and borrowing an unused one from a friends garage.

  i was told it was buried and hard to get out, so i took a bit of time tackling the job.

  i have been dfd and divorced from the ex for six years now.

  i have remarried and been living in a idyllic cabin by a year round creek all this time but i might have to move.

  so i have been going through all my stuff and discarding what i can to lighten my moving load and reviewing every item, every picture, every little piece of paper.
